Propartner Defence is located at Notodden, only 1 1/2 hours by road from Oslo, the capitol of Norway, and only 20 minutes from Kongsberg, the home of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace - Norway's major defense contractor and one of Propartner Defence valued customers.
Notodden is the commercial centre of East Telemark county, and is essentially a town which has it roots in agriculture. Because of its creative spirit, as applied both to industry and society, Notodden has grown into a versatile municipality that boasts exciting industrial and cultural opportunities.
Notodden has numerous well preserved historical buildings, including the famous Heddal Stave Church, and is located in breathtaking natural surroundings offering countless possibilities for outdoor recreational activities.
Telemark College, with approximately 1500 students is located here, as well as two comprehensive high schools.
Every summer Notodden is host of Europe's biggest and best Blues festival.
